Logo
The logo is on the left hand side of the magazine, I like the idea of placing school logo on the magazine I don’t like the colours that has been used.
Masthead
The masthead is short, in green colour that is used on the cover, the title is “SMS” which is not linking with the school but it links with the students. I think the title isn’t very interesting also I don’t like the colours used as it does not stand out.
Puff (underneath master head)
The puff is written in much smaller font than the title it is also in yellow colour which do not stand out. I think the strap line “Your Magazine Your Issues” is good it sounds good but I don’t like the colour as it isn’t making good contrast with the green tittle above it.
3Cover Lines
There are 3 cover lines that are in green boxes where the writing is yellow, I don’t like the mixture of those 2 colours I don’t think this makes a nice contrast an I can’t see the writing correctly.
Juxtaposition of main kicker and the picture
The juxtaposition of the word “study smart” and the person represented on the picture who is holding books which represents learning, the person represented on picture looks very smart but also the cloths are modern which shows that the school has a modern approach which also create the juxtaposition with the school represented in the background shows modern new school. I really like the contrast and mining of it that has been used in the cover page.

Logo
The logo is placed in the middle of the page I really like the position of the logo.
Masthead
The master-head represents the name of school which is “Cardiff High School Magazine” I really like it I think it makes this magazine look very professional.
Puff
The puff represents the year in which the school has been opened, it is written in smaller font which makes looks like it is linked with the title. I really like this idea, It gives me impression that the school in unique and very excusive.
